My view of this issue

Does this railroad crossing look safe to you? Didn't think so. Notice how there is only a simple warning sign and a stop sign? Some people would drive right through this, then BAM! Their car just got hit by a train. This has happened at many railroad crossings. However, even though most accidents happen at crossings with gates, the most deadly have happened at crossings without gates.
Several cities in various states or countries across the world have railroad crossings, but many do not have gates. This is not safe, especially when you can't see the train coming. Some crossings don't even have LIGHTS. These cities have had car/train crashes where fatalities have happened, and yet the states are doing nothing about it. Enough is enough! One death is fine, but the law says three deaths in five years. That is too much! No city should have to wait on getting gates, even if it is expensive. Just look at how many people have died, but look at HOW they have died. One lady was hit by a train, but she wasn't killed by the metal, she was killed by the force and it caused her heart to separate. Do we have to wait for this to happen three times to get gates? No! We should have gates installed at every crossing, no matter what the cost!
As I have discussed, each crossing across the world should have gates to prevent injuries or death. If we can't have gates, then guess how many people will die! Now tell me, does THIS crossing look safe?
